The focus of Meeting Four is on the reporting process and sharing the research results in practitioner authored publications and group presentations. The agenda is designed for participants to meet the following objectives:

  • Learn about writing research briefs.
  • Establish criteria for writing and publishing the group’s research.
  • Produce initial draft research briefs.
  • Convey the significance of research findings in the group.
  • Evaluate the content of learning in practitioner research.
  • Reflect on and evaluate practitioner research as professional development.
  • Celebrate the accomplishments of the group.

For each session, you will find the following materials:

  • An agenda of activities with guidelines for the facilitator
  • An outline of the group process and the participant handouts
  • Information about homework requirements and research meeting preparations
  • Work samples from practitioner research networks
  • Research references and resources
